Did somebody say "impasse"?
Who are they expecting to recognize the Jewish Sate - Is Abbas suppossed to represent the entire Palestinian people. Will that solve everything if Abbas just says "Yes, we the Palestinian people recognize the establishment of Israel as a Jewish sate." Well, it wont. The Palestinians have thier own voices, and organizations like Hamas and the PLO will continue to have thier own views towards Israel and continue the violence in the region. Where does the peace process go after Israel recieves recognition.
